デザイナー藤本透の数あるビンテージコレクションの中でもワークシャツには特に思い入れが強いと言います。 それはひとえに彼の日常は常にアトリエワークの中にあり、ライフスタイルにもフィットするからでしょう。 現代の豊かな暮らしは、想像もつかない過酷な環境下を生き抜いた先人達の功績の上に成り立っていると言えます。 それは今シーズンの”FACE FUCT"というテーマにも強く影響を与えています。 当時を生きた方たちへの賛美を込めて、今作ではよりラスティックな雰囲気を演出するフルタンニン鞣しのピッグスキンレザーを採用。 唯一純国産と言っても過言のはピッグスキンのみだと言います。 日本では安価なイメージのピッグスキンですが、欧州ではその耐久性や柔軟性、通気性などが高く評価されており、 高級ブランドの鞄から小物に至るまで幅広く取り入れられている皮革です。 藤本はこのバイアスに惹かれ、素材開発に着手したと言います。 通常国内ではピッグスキンには使用しない非常にグレードの高いタンニンを使用し、ゆっくりと丁寧に仕上げております。 経年変化の美しさは言うまでもありません。 また革の裏側に特殊な加工を施し、裏地を排除することを可能にしておりますので、レザー特有の堅苦しさのもなく軽快な着心地を実現致しました。 MINUSの革製品には定番のディテールであるラスティックエッジをはじめ、陰影の強いレザーの質感がブランドの退廃的な空気を演出します。 レザーの質感とは相反するミニマルなダール釦。 短丈かつボクシーなシルエットながら縦長にアプローチするようパターンメイキングしております。 使い込むことをお楽しみください。 アトリエ製 Among designer Toru・N・Fujimoto's many vintage collections, he is particularly attached to work shirts. Pigskin has an inexpensive image in Japan, but in Europe, its durability, flexibility, and breathability are highly appreciated. This leather is widely used for everything from bags to accessories by luxury brands. He says he was attracted to this bias and started to develop the material. We use very high grade tannin, which is not usually used for pigskin in Japan, and finish it slowly and carefully. Needless to say, the beauty of the leather changes over time. In addition, a special process is applied to the reverse side of the leather to eliminate the lining, which allows the garment to be light and comfortable to wear without the stiffness characteristic of leather. Rustic edges, a standard detail in MINUS leather products, and other leather textures with strong shading give the brand a decadent air.
