This piece is part of the “Bootleg Series,” paying homage to designer Toru・N・Fujimoto’s personal collection of 1990s vintage T-shirts. Among them, NINE INCH NAILS stands out as a band that had a profound influence on his adolescence. For this release, MINUS presents its first-ever docking design within the BOOTLEG COLLECTION — a bold reinterpretation that fuses multiple garments into one. The body features a pigment-dyed finish, creating the appearance and texture of a well-worn vintage tee. Both the printing technique and fabric treatment were carefully developed to reproduce a naturally faded, timeworn expression. The dynamic cutting and layered construction interact with the wearer’s movement, producing a visually effective, kinetic impact. This piece explores the potential of the sweatshirt as a universal medium, offering versatility that can be enjoyed both as a standalone item and in layered styling.
