Deeply rooted in designer Toru N.Fujimoto's background in hardcore culture, the garment reinterprets the crust pants he has worn for years through the perspective of MINUS. Every bootleg patch is individually sewn by hand inside the atelier without the use of sewing machines. The deliberate imperfections created through hand stitching ensure that every garment develops its own unique character. The decision to use bootleg imagery is itself an expression of respect toward the original hardcore and punk culture. For the same reason, MINUS deliberately avoids calling this garment a "crust pant," instead presenting it as its own interpretation rather than a reproduction. The hem is boldly cut off, reinforcing its rustic appearance. The garment is constructed from an 11oz denim slowly woven in Kojima, Okayama, one of Japan's most respected denim-producing regions. With continued wear, the denim develops deep, layered fading alongside the aging of the applied patches. A durable button fly, adjustable back cinch, rounded slit pockets, and MINUS's signature sharply shaped back pockets complete the construction. Every seam is stitched with cotton thread, allowing both the fabric and stitching to fade naturally over time. Whether preserved as it is or transformed into a crust pant uniquely your own, that decision belongs entirely to the wearer.
