This piece is part of the “bootleg” series inspired by 1990s vintage tees from designer Toru Fujimoto’s personal collection. Among them, Nine Inch Nails is a band that had a profound influence on his adolescence. For this release, we present the first leather garment within the BOOTLEG COLLECTION. The base jacket is intentionally left free of unnecessary design intervention, referencing the iconic A-2 flight jacket—adopted by the U.S. Army Air Corps around the 1930s. The material is brown-core horsehide, just like the originals, allowing you to enjoy the deep patina and aging over time. MINUS-original bootleg patches and studs are placed throughout the piece, echoing Fujimoto’s personal studded leather jacket. Each jacket features hand-applied stencil work on the back. Please enjoy the individuality and handcrafted irregularities unique to manual production.
