This collection features MINUS’s signature Boro Jacquard material. Drawing from designer Toru N.Fujimoto’s personal archive, traditional Japanese boro textiles are crossed with Western distressed denim, reinterpreted and reconstructed as an original jacquard textile. This material appears repeatedly throughout the collections and serves as a core expression of MINUS’s identity. Since the brand’s inception—and continuing to this day—the fabric has been meticulously woven in Bishu, a region long renowned for its high-end wool textiles. Repair details executed with industrial metal hardware evoke a sense of underground culture, strongly reflecting the designer’s background. An elongated back strap.
