Its fully reversible design allows two different aesthetic sensibilities to coexist as equal identities within a single garment. On the A PUZZLING HOME side, the characteristic colors and ornamental language of traditional souvenir jackets are retained while a skull motif evocative of the 1990s is reconfigured. Combined with a spiderweb composition, the embroidery carries the memory of vintage garments while developing a new visual narrative. The MINUS side references a 1950s vintage racing jacket from the personal collection of designer Toru N.Fujimoto. Its functional construction and rugged presence have been reinterpreted as a racing jacket emblematic of the PROVOKE #4 collection. The visual presence of the ribbing has been deliberately restrained, allowing each side to function independently as a fully resolved garment. Split raglan sleeves balance a sharp shoulder line with ease of movement, while MINUS’s signature ladder stitching runs along the center back, introducing structural tension. The cropped box silhouette stands slightly away from the body, creating a clearly defined and controlled proportion. The body is constructed from a substantial triacetate satin with a smooth surface. Its restrained luster and weighted drape emphasize both the dimensional embroidery and the sculptural structure of the jacket. The ribbing is custom-knitted from cotton, combining durability with the ability to develop a natural patina through continued wear. A product that contains the contrasting memories and aesthetic languages of two brands within a single garment. Each side invites its own interpretation.
