This piece draws inspiration from one of the most iconic and recognizable vintage workwear garments within designer Toru・N・Fujimoto’s personal archive, referencing a classic item produced by a renowned maker. The design preserves MINUS’s signature grunge and rustic atmosphere, while incorporating the brand’s hallmark Slash Seam detailing. It features a cropped box silhouette that sharply defines the body’s contours, with ladder stitching running along the center back. Crafted from Okayama Kojima denim, known as the heartland of Japanese denim production, the piece undergoes a discharge print process combined with botanical garment dyeing. The discharge printing was meticulously executed by a historic hand-printing workshop in Kyoto, where the artisans adjusted the strength of the color removal by hand to delicately express the ASAT CAMO pattern. Additional details include minimal dull-finished metal parts, and a dual front closure system utilizing both zippers and snap buttons, offering greater styling versatility.
