A reinterpretation of an iconic workwear jacket through the lens of MINUS. While retaining the strong, linear construction characteristic of traditional workwear, the garment is rebuilt through ergonomic pattern making, allowing it to move naturally with the body. The silhouette preserves the volume of the original design while introducing a shorter length, resulting in a sharper and more contemporary balance. A full-zip construction is adopted at the front, blurring the boundary between the body and hood to create a seamless, fluid appearance. The fabric is an original jacquard textile inspired by the processing techniques developed for MINUS’s former “100-Year Denim” project. Beyond its unique depth and texture, the fabric is dyed using sulfur dyes for the black version and indigo dyes for the indigo version, allowing it to develop a rich, denim-like fade through years of wear. A signature ladder stitch runs down the center back. Details such as the vegetable-tanned leather patch and minimally finished DARL hardware are designed with aging in mind. All seams are sewn using cotton thread, allowing the garment to soften and evolve naturally alongside the fabric over time. Experience the distinctive aging process unique to MINUS.
